The Czech football players supported the charity collection

Recently also the fashion brand CAMP DAVID (www.campdavisstore.cz) also joined this project and in its stores created collection points. The football players Tomáš Ujfaluši, Vladimír Šmicer, Horst Siegl, Josef Němec, Martin Hyský, the sports director of the Czech Association of Football Players Dominik Rodinger or journalist Pavel Novotný also contributed to the project and have donated their shoes.
The beginning of the cooperation took place in one of the shops CAMP DAVID in the Shopping centre Letňany. There was also the founder of the initiative Markéta Haindlová and celebrities of the Czech football. The fashion brand will offer collection points in their stores in the Czech , where people can bring their unwanted shoes. When the customer brings one pair of shoes, he will get extra twenty percent discount for buying of new shoes.
„I really support the project Shoes4Life. I photographed a charitable pictures with many other football players this year and, of course, I want to help in the future too. In our country, the shoes are consumer goods, we have one to the gym, next to the football, to running, to suit or to a normal wearing. But in the World, there are people, who haven’t got these possibilities and wearing of shoes is a luxury for them. To donate unwanted football boots or any other shoes it is the least what we can do for people from developing countries,“ said the footballer Vladimír Šmicer.
The collection is not time limited. Interested people can bring unnecessary, but still preserved shoes to the stores of CAMP DAVID whenever they want. If your store is so far, you can your shoes hand in or send to to the office of Czech Association of Football Players in Prague 1.
Markéta Haindlová, the attorney at law, established this project four years ago with the original aim to support the sport in developing countries. Later, the project was expanded further and gained a global level.
